Letter from Tess Tuesday 10 October 2017

Hi there!

What a week it’s been, full on getting my online course completed – still more to do, but almost there.

I liken it to the times when we’re getting ready to go out and Bob skips ahead to the garage to get the car out. Of course I’m taking time, going round the house, making sure everything’s locked up and turned off and nothing untoward will happen while we’re away. Putting water and food out for the animals, getting water bottles packed up in the chiller bags, and a snack – just in case! The typical rhetoric follows when I finally get in the car – after closing and locking the garage doors and then closing the property front gate!!! The inevitable question of “How long does it take to lock up?”

Hmmm, best not reply to that! Actually I do usually reply to that, running through all the chores I’ve just done! Anyway, that’s what finishing the course feels like. I just get one part of it sorted and then there’s something else. But, very soon, we will be on our way on this new and exciting, if not a little terrifying, journey into a whole new chapter of our lives.

Current Events

It’s been quite a week in other regards as well – namely the loss of life during the shooting in Vegas.

There’s been a lot of information shared around the web regarding the Vegas attack on concert goers, so you can be forgiven for not wanting to hear any more about it.

However, I do suggest you check out this video from Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, a scientist who has done testing on the acoustics vs bullet path timing to arrive at the conclusion that there were more than one gunmen.

And another video from a taxi driver who filmed what looks like shots being fired from a second location in the hotel.

We are living in times when we need to seek further afield than the mainstream media as the honesty and integrity which was once a part of normal journalism has been well and truly bought and paid for, resulting in the best source of accurate information being found in alternative news sites.

Health and wellness

This week, I recommend a really good video from Dr John Bergman focusing on foods that heal and other foods that can be detrimental to our health. The more I keep researching food and how wonderful it is designed to be (especially organic food) the more I’m convinced that we are what we eat. Good food grows good cells. It’s a very interesting video.

Vaccines

Dr Peter Frost, former vice present of Pfizer, talks about how the pharmaceutical industry influences the medical establishment.

God help our teens, a ‘new and improved’ Gardasil vaccine has just been released in Australia.

Parents need to check out the vaccine inserts before allowing their children to risk the severe side effects of Gardasil and other HPV vaccines.

Investigate before you vaccinate!

Scripture of the week

2 Corinthians 10:5

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Boy, have I had to stand on this scripture lately!

If any one you have written a book or put something out in the public domain, you will know how much of a hurdle you have to overcome with your thought life.

Of course, there are the moments of “It’s not good enough, or why would anyone want to hear what I think, or I’m not educated, qualified, knowledgable enough…”

So, when those moments strike I measure up those thoughts against God’s word and I remind myself…is it winsome, loving, kind, good to think like that? If not, I cast down those thoughts and keep on going.

Have an awesome week.

Big hug!

Tess
